Sport England are currently not accepting new applications requesting flood relief support through Small Grants.

However, since our successful Environmental Sustainability and Funding Webinar in February which can be viewed here; https://youtu.be/KNNAukGS3X4 covering areas such as:

  • What is Environment Sustainability and what is the impact on sport.
  • Ideas of what sports clubs can do to be more environmentally sustainable.
  • Example Case Studies of sports clubs that have received funding to improve their clubs and facilities whilst incorporating environmental sustainability into their planning and development.
  • Funding streams that might support environmental sustainability for sports clubs and organisations.

Sport England has been working with a number of NGBs (The Football Association, Rugby Football Union, Rugby Football League, ECB, Lawn Tennis Association and England Hockey), and produced a set of information sheets and a template to help clubs and facility managers find out whether their facilities are at risk of flooding and what to do in the event of a flooding.

If facilities are at risk, the templates will help clubs and facility managers develop a flood plan and other strategies that will help reduce the impact of flooding.
