“Marketing is the whole business seen from the point of view of it’s final result, that is, from the customer’s point of view”
Marketing Example
If you are organising Play Day in the park and you paint a sign saying “Play Day on Wednesday” that’s advertising. If you print the sign on to a banners and put the banners all around the park, that’s promotion. If you get a the local press to take a photograph of a celebrity next to the banner an article goes in the local press of this photograph, that’s publicity. If the town’s citizens go to Play Day, you show them the many activities on offer, explain how much fun they’ll have taking part in these activities, answer their questions and ultimately, they spend money, join in the activities and have a great time, that’s marketing
