Funding 4 Sport would like to congratulate Stevenage Striders Running Club: 0-5k Section, for becoming winners of our sponsored award – Best Newcomer Club or Club Section. The running club fought of stiff competition from Hoddesdon Triathlon Club and Sir Frederic Osbourn School Sports Centre, but were worthy winners of this prestigious award.
The award presented by Kieran Crombie, one of Funding 4 Sports bid writers, was one of a number of Awards presented on the night, which a great celebration of sports volunteering in Hertfordshire.
