This week many sports clubs will have received the fantastic news that they have been awarded funding through Sport England’s Inspired Facilities programme. Other sports clubs on the other hand will have been informed that the competition was extremely high and unfortunately on this occasion their bid had been unsuccessful!
This has left many clubs wondering what to do next especially with the deadline for the next round only 7 weeks away e.g. do they; re-apply, look for another funding source, try and obtain the money another way, or just give up and continue to make do with their current facilities. Some clubs will choose the later ,whilst others will take this on the chin, re-group and either re-apply or look for another funding source.
