The Four Acre Trust supports charities working in the following areas:
- Breaks and holidays for young people.
- School holiday activity schemes.
- Adventure and other training centres.
- Mentoring schemes.
- Youth work in local communities.
The trust supports two main areas – respite care and subsidised holidays for young people. They will make a contribution towards holidays and short breaks that offer young people a chance to experience something they would not normally do.
Four Acre supports charities registered in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, working within the sectors described, in Britain and abroad. You can bid for between £3,000 and £75,000
Please read carefully the Trust’s funding criteria before completing the application form. The application forms are available from www.fouracretrust.org.uk/index.html. Trustees meet in April, June, August, October and December and applications are usually processed within three months.
