Healthy Communities Small Grants Programme

The Healthy Communities Small Grants Programme awards grants of between £5,000 and £10,000 of funding to local community and voluntary groups. We’re particularly keen to support grassroots activity that will help local residents live longer healthier lives.

Healthy Communities is currently open in the following local community interest company areas: 

– HealthShine – Glasgow, Renfrewshire, East and West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire,
– HealthDiverse – Powys, Ceredigion, Flintshire, Wrexham, Gwynedd, Conway, Denbighshire,
– HealthBloom – Kirklees, Calderdale, Bradford
– HealthKind – Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Higland, Moray, Nah-Eileanan Siar (Western Isles)
Shetland and Orkney Islands (re-opened)
– HealthStrength – Essex, Southend on Sea, Thurrock (re-opened)
– HealthEngage – Dunfries and Galloway, North,East and South Ayrshire, Scottish Borders,
North and South Lanarkshire (re-opened)
– HealthAble – Cumbria and Northumberland (re-opened)
– HealthImprove – County Durham, Stockton on Tees, Redcar, Cleveland, Middlesborough,
Darlington, Hartlepool (re-opened)
– HealthTotal – Gloucestershire, Swindon (re-opened)
– HealthStrong – Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes (re-opened)
– HealthEquality – Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing, Hounslow,
– HealthShape – (re-opened)
– HealthComplete – Lincolnshire

Funding will be available from other community interest companies in the coming weeks and months, and local charities and community groups are urged to check our website for details.
