We are now accepting nominations for the first ever Co-operative StreetGames Young Volunteer of the Year Awards!

The awards, which are open to volunteers on The Co-operative StreetGames Young Volunteers programme aged between 16 and 25, seek to recognise the excellent work being carried out across the country by young people looking to make a difference in their community.

As well as considering factors such as attitude, qualifications, skills and commitment, judges will also be looking for candidates who have had a successful impact on the lives of young people. From entries received a list of regional finalists will be selected who are then eligible to compete for the national title of ‘Co-operative StreetGames Young Volunteer of the Year’.

Alison Hodges, Campaigns Manager for The Co-operative, commented: “We know there are so many young people out there doing great things for their community via the volunteering scheme. Now is their chance to shine and our chance to pay tribute to them. I look forward to seeing the nominations.”

Initial nominations need to be submitted by a project member of staff. To download a copy of the nomination form; Nomination Form
