Every good review must come to an end, and indeed two concluded this week. Sport England gave its backing to the continued work of the School Games following six-months of scrutiny, while Sports Think Tank director Andy Reed filed the work he had done on the future of County Sports Partnerships (CSP) to sports minister Tracey Crouch a few hours later.

While both Sport England and Reed demonstrated their confidence in the School Games and CSPs respectively, both set out recommendations to streamline their future and work in harmony with the desired outcomes of the government’s Sporting Future strategy.
